Often, I suppose, it is more uncomplicated to imagine a Holy Spirit living, and breathing, and moving among us (here on earth) than it is thoroughly understanding we share our earthly space with Jesus and God as well. The reason I assume that could be true is all too often we attempt to conjure up images of God and Jesus in some sort of human form, (expect them to show up in the same manner) yet we accept the Holy Spirit as without human likeness with little disagreement. That’s a good thing. We’re on the right track. Join us for worship this Pentecost Sunday at 8 or 10 a.m. and hear more. Wear something red and plan to stay for pot-luck lunch!

We can hardly wait (some of us) for the yearly celebration of Christmas, but Holy Week – that’s different. Some will skip the last supper, the betrayal, sentencing, mocking and flogging, the crucifixion and jump from the palms to “Alleluia-Alleluia.” Beginning with Jesus birth, (Christmas) up to today, (Palm Sunday) three months to the day, we have followed Luke’s take on Jesus’ life, his wanderings, and his purpose for our lives. This Sunday, we reach the sobering and brutal end of all that. Jesus warned us it was coming, we know the story well. Still, I wonder, did it have to happen this way? Do you ever wonder, did it have to happen this way? Come join us Palm Sunday, hear more, and be part of the story.
